Cal Pacific serves as export agent and foreign marketing representative for Shasta Nursery Company of Anderson, California. As export agent for one of the oldest strawberry plant nurseries in California, Cal Pacific supplies its clients with the principal strawberry varieties derived from the University of California plant breeding program. The UC varieties dominate the production of fresh market strawberries in such areas as California, southern Spain and Morocco.
Cal Pacific accesses varieties from proprietary plant breeding companies as well as from programs outside of California.
